Now I lay me down to sleep, these are the beautiful words that have comforted every person around the world no matter their age at some time in their life. From the softness of laying on someone skin to pulling up the covers on a cold night, no other feeling of letting go has been easier than closing your eyes and letting your body and mind succumb to the relaxation of slumber. Sleep is a motherly vessel that holds you against her bosom and transports you to the future as a new day arrives. She can be the comforting friend that holds you when you had a bad day and all you want to do is cry. She has never placed judgement on you when you call her to be with you, she has only every welcomed you with open arms. She at times may have a temper and want to fight causing you to toss and turn, cursing her name, but in the end she apologizes and does her best to calm you and carry you off to the land of dreams and fantasy. She has also been known as a trickster and acting like a child, sneaking up on you when you least at expect it. She chuckles and smirks as she lays her fingers across your eyes making them dance to her lullaby. She will lie across your lap making you support her weight in your arms, but she has learned to move quickly away as her body becomes too heavy and your limbs give way and fall to your side. When she puts her playfulness aside, it is easy to see that she has always loved you and will continue to be by your side even when you think she has left you helpless and alone. She has always had to fight with her eternal enemy of insomnia, but she knows that as long as she lives, she will always conquer over him and once again have you all to herself. She does everything that she can to make you love her when you two are together, because she knows that when the time comes and you must awake, that she is going to be without you. Eternity is a long time to someone when they don’t know when they are going to see you again. Her eternal love was always yours from the time that she was there with you in the womb, wrapped in her blanket as the sound of your mother’s heart beat soothed you and her heart will break, but just for a moment when it comes times to take your last breath, because she knows that even though you may have left the physical world, your eternal slumber gives her peace as you will always be by her side even when the morning comes.

When it comes to understanding the benefits of a memory foam mattress or even of the use of a memory foam mattress topper, it is important to understand why memory cushions your body better than most traditional types of mattresses. You have probably heard before that this type of mattress can help ease your aches and pains, but you might be skeptical as to whether or not that is actually the case. Rest assured, that is exactly what memory foam is capable of doing. It is so different from most traditional mattresses that you will start to notice a difference in the quality of your sleep and the way that you feel almost immediately.

If you have a tendency to get aches and pains because of pressure points when you sleep, this type of mattress eliminates the problem altogether. Since it supports your body much more efficiently, it can eliminate some of the pain that you might feel if you have chronic conditions such as lower back pain or if you have had a neck injury in the past and you still suffer the painful effects of it today. Whether your pain is caused by sleeping in the wrong position, overextending yourself earlier in the day or chronic pain conditions that make you more susceptible to pain, memory foam mattresses can help alleviate the problems caused by excessive pain.

Ease Your Aches and Pains

Regardless of why you are experiencing pain, you need to mitigate the effects of it so that you can live a healthy lifestyle. Pain can keep you from falling asleep at night and it can wake you up in the middle of the night. Either way, your rest is interrupted. When that happens, your pain actually gets worse because you are not able to give your body the opportunity to heal that it needs. To further exacerbate the situation, a lack of sleep can have many other effects on your health that can be very serious such as high blood pressure and even heart problems. It can make you more susceptible to disease because your immune system is depleted. It makes it harder to focus during the day and this can make simple tasks dangerous. It even affects your mental and emotional well being because when you are not rested, you are not ready to deal with the challenges of the day like you would otherwise be.

Sleep is vitally important to your overall health and using a mattress made from memory foam can help you get the best night's sleep possible. There is no reason to toss and turn and spend more hours awake than you do asleep. There is also no reason to give in to the pain that you experience each and every day when you could find relief from that pain when you lie down at night. Memory foam mattresses are designed differently and than traditional mattresses and as a result, they perform much differently. If you are experiencing pain or you are having problems sleeping, give one of these mattresses a try and see how much of a difference it can make for you.
