Challenging the Role War Plays in Our Lives…

Minnesota VFP Chapter 27 members are available to speak on the issue of War and other topics of concern to our nation.

Our Speakers Bureau is available to work with any type of organization including:

• Elementary Schools
• High Schools
• Colleges
• Community Education
• Churches
• Correctional Programs
• Town Meetings
• Business
• Radio and Television

Our speakers are men and women committed to increasing awareness of the costs of War. Many have seen the reality of War firsthand. We share our experiences and beliefs through speaking, prose, poetry, and music. Speakers can address the connection of War to the economy, the environment, and our government. Patriotism, media coverage, and non-violent conflict resolution may also be addressed.

Members who have traveled to Nicaragua and the Soviet Union can offer a global perspective. Some have returned to Vietnam to heal wounds and gain a new understanding of our role in that War.

Discussion is encouraged. Critical thinking is fostered. Our presentations challenge people to discover and define their values.
